2016 AQHYA, NSBA, and AQHA Select World Shows
CRQH is home from a long trip to Oklahoma and is mostly recovered. Between the AQHYA World Show and the NSBA World Show we were gone for three weeks, but a most successful three weeks it was!
Lauren Anderson and her gelding, RV Radical Zip Rod competed at the AQHYA World Show for their final time in the Horsemanship, Trail, and Western Riding. As Lauren heads off to college this talented gelding is being offered for sale, contact Carolyn for more information. He is a fantastic western all-around horse!

Competing at the NSBA World Show were sisters Liana and Jaleesa Caroccio with their geldings’, An Everlasting Touch and A Flashy Invitation. Jaleesa and Charlie Brown had a fantastic show, going home with a placing in nearly every class they went in! The cherry on top was their Reserve World Championship in the Novice Youth Equitation! Liana and Everett had a great show at the AQHA Show Your Colors show that ran right before the NSBA World Show, they had strong placings in all their classes with a win in a strong Youth Showmanship class!

Angela Marshall and her gelding Heza Macs Allstar, Alvin, just keep getting better and better. This is one of our newer teams, they just started showing together this spring. They laid out personal bests in all of their classes at the NSBA World Show and made the rail in a very deep Novice Amateur Horsemanship class! Carolyn showed Alvin in the Senior Trail and Western Riding where he laid out of some of his best patterns with her as well!

Carolyn and her personal gelding, Hez Pretty Extreme had a smokin' NSBA World Show. Carolyn and Bert placed 8th in a very deep BCF 4-6 Yr Old Open Western Riding Class and unanimously won the Green Junior Trail, making this young gelding and Carolyn NSBA World Champions! Parris and Bert competed in the Amateur division and had a great show as well. They ended up 4th in the Equitation, 7th in the Horsemanship, and 4th in the BCF 4-6 Yr Old Non-Pro Trail! This amazing four-year-old just keeps getting better and better.

Just a couple days after we returned home from our Oklahoma trip Carolyn flew to Amarillo to coach Shelley Otness at the AQHA Select World Show. Shelley had beautiful goes in the Showmanship and Horsemanship, ending up 5th in the Horsemanship! Congrats!

CRQH is home until the Arizona Fall Championship which runs the first week of October. It is nice to be home for a bit, but we are looking forward to showing in Arizona! Congrats to all our clients on their fantastic shows!
