Hollywood Charity, Burbank, CA

Hollywood Charity is wrapped up and CRQH is home. One of the lovely things about this show is that it is only forty minutes from home, making it nice and close. The people of Los Angeles Equestrian Center did an amazing job of keeping the arenas watered and the dust down despite the heat! Huge shout out to these hard workers! Another wonderful thing about this show was that every person went home winning a circuit! We are so proud of all our clients and horses for their successes!

Michelle Lewis and Indelible Invatation had top placings in all their classes and won the Level 1 Amateur Equitation circuit! They also laid out some wonderful Horsemanship patterns!

Shelly Freed and Dont Touch My Tux had their first AQHA show together and first show with CRQH. This team had top placings in the Level 1 Amateur Horsemanship and Showmanship, winning the Showmanship circuit! Shelly and Eli have come so far in such a short period of time, we can’t wait to watch them continue to improve!

Angela Moore and her mare Smokin Sensational have really been working on effective communication and personal bests. It paid off this weekend and Angela and Abby won their first circuit together in the Select Amateur Trail! We are so happy for Angela that all her hard work paid off! Carolyn showed Abby in the Senior Trail with wins and top placings as well!

Brian Moore and Coolest Jacky competed in the Select Amateur Trail and had improvements through the week! Carolyn showed Tommy in the Senior Trail to multiple wins and ended up winning the circuit!

Parris Rice and Hez Pretty Extreme had a great show! They finished the show with wins in all of their events, going undefeated in the Amateur Horsemanship, Showmanship, and Equitation! Parris and Bert also won the circuit in these events as well as the Amateur Trail, sending them home with the circuit in all of their events! Carolyn and Bert had a fantastic show as well! They won the circuit in the Junior Trail, winning it under all judges both days, and Western Riding and finished qualifying for the World Show in the Western Riding! Congrats!

While it may have been a little warm, the wonderful horse show that CRQH had made up for the sweat. Thank you again to the grounds people for being so on top of keeping the arenas watered! It made such a difference in the heat to not have to ride through dust! Congrats to all our clients on a fantastic show! We are so proud of all of your accomplishments and are glad we can be a part of them! We are glad to be home for several weeks before we head back out again to the Western States Championships in July.
