Paso Robles Mother's Day Circuit

We recently got home from Paso Robles, CA where the 50th Mother’s Day Circuit was held. We had a great and fun show! Everybody did well, the prizes were wonderful, and the atmosphere was spectacular. We took six horses to the horse show and everybody walked away hearing their name called and having improvements.

Michelle Lewis and Indelible Invatation were circuit champions in the Level 1 Amateur Equitation with strong rides in the Amateur Equitation and Amateur Horsemanship! We are proud of how far this team has come and proud of them for stepping up to compete in the regular Amateur Equitation as well!

Brian and Angela Moore with their horses Coolest Jacky and Smokin Sensational, respectively, had a lovely show. Both Brian and Angela had great parts in their trail goes, which caused Carolyn to call them their personal bests. Both had nice placings in the Select Trail! These teams have had so much improvement and we are so happy for them. Carolyn showed Tommy and Abby in the Senior Trail and placed in the top five out of a nice group of horses!

Jaleesa Caroccio and A Flashy Invitation are coming together quite nicely. Charlie Brown is still a green horse at the all-around events and Jaleesa has been very patient in helping to teach him how to be a successful show horse. These two had wins in the Level 1 Youth Equitation and Horsemanship as well as great placings in the Youth Equitation and Horsemanship. They also had a strong pattern in the Youth Showmanship.

Liana Caroccio and An Everlasting Touch had a great show as well! She and Everett won the Youth Showmanship under both judges, had a great ride in the Youth Equitation and Horsemanship, and took on the Youth Western Riding! Previously to this show Liana had just been showing in the Level 1 Western Riding, but she wanted to try her hand at the Youth. Way to be a go-getter!

Parris Rice and Hez Pretty Extreme had a smokin’ show! Parris and Bert were circuit champions in the Amateur Showmanship and Equitation with wins in both! They also had wins in the Amateur Trail, Horsemanship, and Western Riding as well as the Level 1 Western Riding. Parris and Bert hadn’t ever shown in the Westering Riding with Bert’s first time showing being the previous show with Carolyn. They debuted in style winning both the Level 1 and Amateur under both judges! Carolyn showed Bert in the Green and Junior Trail winning the circuit in both those classes as well! Bert also won a wonderfully special award, he was the high-point trail horse of the show. This was the inaugural year this show presented this award. It was donated by a wonderful woman whose horse had deep roots to Paso Robles and with which she competed in the trail. She has such ties and loving memories of her horse she donated a perpetual award for the Mother’s Day Circuit for the high-point trail horse. We are thrilled that we got to be the first recipients of it!

CRQH had a fantastic show and we are proud of all the improvements our clients made. This show was aptly named as it falls over Mother’s Day weekend. Thank you to all the wonderful Mother’s (human moms and fur-children moms alike)! We also want to thank SLOQHA for putting on such a wonderful show! We are headed to Del Mar for Sun and Surf next! We hope to see you there!
