Level 1 Championships West

Vegas round two. This time it was for AQHA Level 1 West Championships and we had a fantastic show! We took seven horses and clients and everybody left with at least a top ten!

Liz Vorbeck and Impulsively Gold joined us from Idaho, we don’t get to see Liz and Casper very often and love it when they come show! Not only has Casper not been a show horse since October it has been longer than that since Liz showed him. Liz and Casper left the show with a 7th in the Level 1 Select Western Riding and Trail and a 3rd in the Horsemanship! We are so proud of this team and how well they competed!

Lauren Hiesl and her gelding A Timeless Scotch were top ten in the Youth Rookie Equitation and finalists in the Horsemanship. They were also top ten in the Level 1 14-18 Youth Showmanship! Lauren puts in so much effort and it is such a wonderful thing to see her have success.

Michelle Lewis and Indelible Invatation were top ten in the Level 1 Amateur Equitation and finalists in the Horsemanship! Michelle and Dexter put in a lot of work together this spring in preparation for this show. This team has really come together this past year and have really begun to have consistency within the show pen. It is so great when a client’s dedication and hard work are seen!

Lauren Anderson and RV Radical Ziprod had a rockin’ show! Lauren and Phoenix were Reserve Champions in the Level 1 14-18 Youth Western Riding and Champions in the Youth Rookie Western Riding! They also had a great ride in the Level 1 Horsemanship. Lauren and Phoenix are such a great team and their partnership shows every time they walk into the pen together.

Angela Marshall and Heza Macs All Star are another new team that had a great show! They had a personal best in the Level 1 Amateur Trail, as well as a nice go in the Showmanship. Angela and Alvin were finalists in the Pleasure and ended up 8th in the Horsemanship! This was their third show together, they are still learning how to communicate with each other to become a cohesive team, to have this success so early off speaks to what a bright future they have!

Liana Caroccio and An Everlasting Touch came to compete in the Level 1 14-18 Youth Western Riding. Liana and Everett have only been showing in the Western Riding together since January. Not only did they have a great ride, ending up with a 4th place finish, but they had a super ride for how long they have been competing in this class!

Jaleesa Caroccio and A Flashy Invitation had a fantastic show! This is a brand new team, they started showing in January and have only been to three shows together. Together, Jaleesa and Charlie Brown ended up 5th in the Level 1 13 & Under Youth Hunter Under Saddle, top ten in the Equitation, and 3rd in the Horsemanship! They were 2nd in the Level 1 Youth Performance Geldings and won the Youth Rookie Equitation! We can’t wait to see where this new team goes!

CRQH is very thankful for such a great show! We are so proud of all our client’s accomplishments and feel so lucky to have helped them and been a part of their journeys’. We were proud sponsors of the Level 1 Amateur Horsemanship and want to extend a congratulations to the winner of this class! We are happy to be home for a couple weeks before we head out to our next horse show. Congrats again to all our girls on such a great horse show!
