Del Mar Fall Classic
As soon as Carolyn returned home from the Select World Show we headed down to sunny Del Mar, California for the Fall Classic. We had a full trailer and a great horse show! Attending the show was Suzanne Benson and Zippos Tabitha, Lauren Anderson and RV Radical Zip Rod, Parris Rice and Hez Pretty Extreme, Michelle Lewis and Indelible Invitation, Elizabeth Reiter and Heza Macs All Star, and Sudden Tee Time. The horses all showed great, and there were many accomplishments and improvements made along the way.
Suzanne and Zippos Tabitha, or Tabitha as she is known around the barn, had a great show together. This team is still new, but they are coming together quite well! Suzanne absolutely loves Tabitha and can’t wait to show her at the Novice West Championships! Carolyn showed Tabitha as well in the Senior Trail and had awesome rides and racked up 20 AQHA Points!

Lauren and RV Radical Zip Rod, Phoenix, had a rockin’ show! They were circuit winners in the both the Youth and Novice Western Riding, Youth Trail, and were reserve in the Youth Showmanship! It has been super fun watching this team come together! Keep your eye out for them at the Novice West Championships! Carolyn showed Phoenix in the Green Trail and Western Riding as well. Together they were in top end of the placings for the Western Riding and Trail.

Parris and Hez Pretty Extreme, Bert, got to show at their second show together! Bert is Carolyn’s 3 year old and is just beginning his show horse career. Parris showed Bert in the Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation, Horsemanship, and Showmanship. She had only showed in him the Equitation at one other show and he had never been shown in the Horsemanship and Showmanship before! Bert was such a trooper and together they were winners in the Horsemanship and Showmanship and placed extremely well in the Equitation. Carolyn showed Bert in the Green Trail and the 3 Year Old Trail Futurity. Bert was fantastic both days and ended up reserve in the futurity after going to a tie breaker!

Michele and Indelible Invitation, Dexter, had a great show as well! They were circuit champions in the Novice Amateur Horsemanship and reserve circuit champions in the Novice Amateur Equitation! This team has progressed so much over the past year and is looking ready to compete at the Novice West Championships!

Elizabeth and Heza Macs All Star, Alvin, had a wonderful show and improved throughout their time spent there. They placed well in both the Novice Amateur Showmanship and Western riding, moving up in their placings from the first day to the second. They ended up with a circuit championship in the Showmanship! Carolyn showed Alvin in the Senior Trail and Western Riding. Alvin did great! He placed 3rd and 4th in the Western Riding out of a very nice class!

Carolyn showed Sudden Tee Time, Arnold, in the Senior Trail and the Green Western Riding. They were in the points in the Senior Trail, and were 2nd and 3rd in the Green Western Riding! This beautiful gelding is for sale and will be at the Arizona Fall Classic! Contact Carolyn for more information.

We are so happy with our horse show and the success our clients had! Improvements were made, teams came together, and everybody had a wonderful time! We are glad to be home for a couple weeks, but are gearing up to go to the Novice West Championships! Look for us there!
