Paso Robles Mother's Day Circuit

CRQH attended the Paso Robles Mother’s Day Circuit in Paso Robles May 6-10. The fairgrounds there made for a very charming experience and we were very appreciative of some cooler weather.

Lauren Hiesl competed aboard her mare BMQ A Lady Forever in the Novice Youth division in the All Around events with huge success. Lauren garnered a lot of bravery to overcome some personal obstacles, and got exactly what she put her mind to. In continuing to establish their partnership, Lauren took home multiple circuit awards and ultimately captured the Novice Youth All Around Award!

Angela Moore took on the Select Trail with big personal bests, placing 1st and 2nd for the first time! Smokin Sensational was in winning form under Carolyn as well; they went on to finish several times in the Top 5 in the Senior Trail. Smooth, finessed rides with incredible consistency were a hallmark accomplishment for both Angela and Carolyn that weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Michelle Lewis took brave steps out into the Amateur divisions in Paso Robles. She netted the Circuit Awards in the Hunt Seat Equitation for both the Novice Amateur and Amateur classes. Indelible Invatation became an AQHA point earner in the Horsemanship and the Hunt Seat Equitation. Overall, big winning efforts from this pair topped off a very successful series of shows for Michelle and Dexter.

Suzanne Benson took her mare Zippo’s Tabitha in the Novice Amateur Trail and was able to assess and address the areas they need to improve on to put together a great ride. Stringing together all of those moments is what developing this new partnership has been about this season, and CRQH is incredibly proud of their improvements this year!

We are so proud of the successes our clients had at this show and look forward to continuing their growth! We also hope that all the mothers out there, animal and people alike, had a fantastic Mother's Day! Next week we are headed to Del Mar for Sun and Surf, see you there!
