Del Mar Double Feature
CRQH has stayed busy so far this season and recently returned from the Double Feature AQHA show in Del Mar, California. Carolyn took 6 horses across multiple divisions. As always, Track One Events put on a fabulous production that made the most of the facility and made showing both easy and fun! The slight chance of rain in the forecast slipped past us and the weekend was a great one in the sunshine with perfect temperatures.
Sudden Tee Time “Arnold” came back to the show ring for the first time this year to Top Ten placings in the Senior Trail and Top Five placings in the Senior Western Riding under Carolyn. This beautiful gelding is for sale! Contact Carolyn and look at our sale page for more information on him.
Zippos Tabitha, owned by Suzanne Benson, took Top Ten placings with Suzanne in the Novice Amateur Trail in only their 2nd show together! Tabitha also came away with a Win (and Top 5 placings by other judges) when Carolyn expertly piloted her through the Senior Trail. Lots of carrots for this stellar mare – we are so lucky to have added her to the team at CRQH!
Smokin Sensational “Abby” owned by Angela Moore earned Top Ten finishes in the Select Trail and Senior Trail (under Carolyn). Congrats, Angela!
Indelible Invatation “Dexter” owned and shown by Michelle Lewis had an incredible show and came out in top form in the Horsemanship for a handful of Top Five finishes. Their winning form followed them to the Novice Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation, where their top placings earned them Circuit Champion! Congratulations, Michelle!
Liana Caroccio’s An Everlasting Touch “Everett” came out to several 1st place finishes in the Youth Showmanship and several more Top Five and Top Ten finishes in the Youth All Around events. Carolyn rode Everett to great placings, including two 2nds, in the Green Horse Western Riding.
Jaleesa Caroccio presented Hot Roddin Renegade with professionalism in the Youth Showmanship to earn 7 Top Ten placings in steep classes. The pair also placed well in the
Performance Geldings Halter, and participated in the western All Around Events with personal improvements and some great moments!
Thankful for such a great show, wonderful clients, and a beautiful show grounds! As always we are looking forward to the next show and whatever adventures it will bring!
